Dr Cheryl Ardill
BSc(SYD), MChiro(MACQ), AMusA(AMEB perf)
​
Your CHS practitioner is unique in that she is both a qualified Chiropractor & Musician.
Dr Cheryl has over 40 yrs experience as an AMEB qualified private Piano Teacher inc Song Writing / Composition, with over 20 of these yrs as a registered Chiropractor.
Dr Cheryl is also a keen painter/pencil artist, has personally done all the artwork for CHS & hence is a long term lover of all things creative.
With a highly sensitive physiology of her own, Dr Cheryl has spent her life learning & perfecting the techniques she brings to her healing & education services & hence, is one of the few practitioners who truly understands sensitive & creative body types.

With this in mind, CHS has been designed to be a simple place of healing for everyone, including Creatives with symptoms arising from their chosen Art.

Healing
​CHIROPRACTIC:
​
Impulse AdjustingTechnique
Treatment involves the state of the art Impulse Adjusting Instrument &/or Dr Cheryl's own blend of gentle light touch techniques available only at CHS. Adjustments are delivered to the spine & peripheral joints in order to restore motion & nervous system function.
Treatments may or may not include Craniosacral & Kinesiology.

CRANIOSACRAL:
Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT)
Chirodontics (see below)

Touch is applied to the head & spine, including the face & jaw, to enhance function & reduce tension of the membranes that cover & protect the spinal cord/brain.

KINESIOLOGY:
TBM (Total Body Modification)
Neurolink NIS
NET (Neuro Emotional Technique)

Neuromuscular reflexes are accessed through specific muscle tests in order to diagnose / treat many different conditions. Treatments involve the spine & other body points aimed at restoring physiological function.
Mind / Body Kinesiology also aims to address the neurophysiology of emotional stress.

CHIRODONTICS:
​
A system of Chiropractic / Dental cranial analysis & treatment addressing the relationship of the TMJ (jaw) & cranial system to the rest of the body.
Involves an extremely complex system of analysis / treatment & must be done in conjunction with a Dentist / Orthodontist familiar with Chirodontics. ​​​
PLEASE NOTE:
Kineseology & Craniosacral are availabe to Chiropractic patients only
& hence may be claimed on all major health funds..
Each case is individually assessed & a full report is given in order to outline & discuss
a specific treatment program prior to commencing treatment at CHS
In addition, all services at CHS are offered individually only ie music services do not include Chiropractic & vice versa.

Music
PIANO / KEYBOARD TUITION:

Learning at CHS includes all forms of keyboard, from traditional piano (including AMEB exams), to synth, midi & beyond.
Students are motivated to use music to develop life skills & to become autonomous, independent & responsible learners through a focus on music as therapy for personal development & stress relief.
A journey of authentic discovery & wonderment with enormous personal satisfaction & joy is the ultimate aim of learning music at CHS.

SONG WRITING / COMPOSITION TUITION:
​All lessons are taken on a Yamaha baby grand with vintage synth's & the latest in Film & Television software on custom built computers ("DAW's") to support the full musical experience.
​
Song writing / composition tuition is approached through traditional theory plus midi & ear work, utilising both as a pathway to understanding the complexities of each. Students are encouraged to explore all genres in order to build a valuable toolkit of techniques from which to draw at any time.
​
Song Writing & Composition lessons at CHS are designed to allow a safe space to express & grow the authentic self, whilst experiencing the infinite satisfaction & pure bliss of self discovery through music.
